The Fremantle History Society has had a request from someone looking for images and information about the Fremantle Baseball Club. We will venture out of Fremantle for the November general meeting, all the way to Cockburn, to Azelia Ley Homestead Museum. The heritage listed residence was built in 1923 and offers a glimpse into the life of a prosperous settler family.The Cockburn Historical Society oversees the running of the museum and will provide us with a guided tour of the museum. Meet inside the park, on the western side of Manning Lake. Members of CHS will join us for Christmas drinks and nibbles in the garden after the tour.
